I am a strong proponent of individual privacy, and so Beneath the Waves has a simple and straightforward policy with regards to your personal information:

Except to prevent abuse of the website, no personal information logged by Beneath the Waves will ever be released to a third party unless required by a court of law.

Downloading a file or sending an email using the Contact form results in a log entry of the IP address and hostname which initiated the request. This information is used only for enforcing the Download Policy and preventing abuse (such as spam and denial-of-service attacks). Like all other visitor information logged by the web server, it will never be released to a third party for another reason unless I am legally required to do so.

Beneath the Waves does not contain advertisements, and it does not make use of cookies.
